Univision Program Launch


The Challenge: Representatives from Univision approached our class with a unique opportunity. Univision is launching a lifestyle and entertainment pilot based in Chicago and targeted to multicultural millennials. Slated with an undesirable Friday night time slot, we were tasked with creating a social media plan to help launch this new program to the targeted audience.

Course: Chicago Corporations & Their Agencies

Teammates: Maria Avalos, Emma Finkbeiner, Andrew Keller, Herman Mobbs, Bria Smith, Ashlyne Wilson

The Insight: Hispanics and Latinos connect with being bilingual and are more engaged with social and traditional media that use both English and Spanish. This preference for bilingual programming seemingly grows with each younger generation.


The Results: We created a strategic plan to involve our audience in content creation, create engaging content across social media platforms, and amplify brand partnerships and influencers to help launch this program to a growing bilingual population in Chicago.
